Extension: chosen conversations in open tabs
Select a vault in Manage. The default note folder is 00-收件箱/ChatGPT and the attachment folder is 附件/NoteHarbor; both are configurable inside the vault. These are literal folder names: changing the interface language does not rename saved files or folders. Restore folder access in Manage if Chrome asks again.
Automatic updates are optional and can be stopped in Manage. Chrome and the matching ChatGPT tab must remain open with valid folder and chatgpt.com permissions. Each check reads messages currently rendered on that tab; it does not scroll to unloaded history, open closed chats or crawl the account. Compatible captures can be merged with the saved baseline, but unavailable history cannot be inferred. Fixed selections do not add future answers. Conflicts pause updates. Always show displays controls without enabling automatic saving.

Existing personal notes are preserved; older templates and links after external file moves may need manual adjustment. Avoid editing the managed transcript during saving.
Review conflicts
In the extension, use Manage → Conflicts and recovery to compare local and incoming transcripts before choosing a resolution. Replacements retain previous versions. In the website converter, inspect NoteHarbor/Conflicts/ alongside the existing transcript and merge deliberately.
Converter: on-demand imports
The website converter updates only from files you import and save; it has no automatic capture. Folder saving uses NoteHarbor/ and NoteHarbor/sync-index.json. Keep the index and do not edit it manually. Removing it prevents safe baseline matching; differing existing content is treated as a conflict. Source-export completeness remains unknown.
