- No controls: use desktop Chrome 122+, open an actual chatgpt.com conversation and click NoteHarbor. After updating an unpacked extension, reload it and refresh the chat.
- Folder disconnected: restore the vault’s browser permission in Manage. Confirm the displayed target before saving.
- ChatGPT cannot load a reply: recover the source page first. NoteHarbor blocks capture instead of archiving the failure as an answer.
- Missing attachments: inspect details and source availability. Optional OpenAI image access may allow a fallback. Text-save success does not mean every file was downloaded.
- Conflict: compare the local and incoming transcript in Manage. Write your thoughts in personal notes; do not delete or edit the sync index to force a save.
- Obsidian does not open: check that Obsidian is installed and the selected folder is a vault. Inspect the saved Markdown and exact personal-note path even if the link cannot launch.
Paths and updates
The extension defaults to 00-收件箱/ChatGPT for notes and 附件/NoteHarbor for attachments; configure them in Manage. The converter uses NoteHarbor/. Stop updates or review conflicts in Manage. Updates require open Chrome/matching tabs and valid access, read only currently rendered messages and do not scroll unloaded history. Fixed scopes do not add future answers.
Existing personal notes are preserved; older templates and links after external file moves may need manual adjustment.
What to send support
Include the extension and Chrome versions, operating system, attempted action and exact error. Remove private content from screenshots. Do not send a whole vault, passwords, cookies, signed download URLs or private chats. Use a minimal synthetic example if needed.
Email is forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to the operator’s existing Gmail inbox for replies and reasonable follow-up. Deletion requests use the same address. The extension does not email support automatically. See the privacy policy.
